Samsung a Hi-Tech Company?

I purchased a 15" LCD monitor from Samsung nearly 31/2 years back. I paid Rs. 17,000/- at the time.

Just
after completing 3 years, their warranty period, the monitor started showing display problems. I started getting streaks and ghosts, particularly with photographs and movie content.

Is LCD technology reliability is lower than that of CRT?

Still, as it was beyond the commercial warranty, I was ready to pay for the repairs. But what about Samsung!!!

Their service person first told the panel needs replacement. After questioning Samsung on this issue, persistently for over 10 days, they agreed to check once again. The service person this time, checked by substituting with another panel. But problem remained!!! He said the problem now, is with logic board.

He took the monitor to his service centre. Returned it after 15 days. I should agree that the problem was corrected by around 60%.

The inference remains that Samsung could not rectify even a simple electronic circuit like their logic board fully!!!

The monitor is still in use, displaying Samsung's weak Product / Service technology.
